I am a teacher who is fluent in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin. I also hold primary/junior, intermediate/senior science, and special education qualifications.
My teaching philosophy is to prepare students for success in school and in life, to help each student realize success in his or her own way. It is essential to recognize that educators are not gatekeepers of knowledge, but also role models that guide and shape character development for their students. Students learn best when lessons are relevant and interesting. There are many types of learners who learn differently. I incorporate elements of music, art, and technology to engage all learners.
